Voting down the USMCA would weaken the entire North American continent as we compete for continued supremacy against the European Union and the Asian Tigers. Democrats must get on board. Trump has threatened that if they won't, he will rescind NAFTA and reinstall the high-tariff policies of the previous era. But it would be better policy and politics to keep NAFTA in place and blame Nancy Pelosi and the other fake free trade Democrats for preventing an even better deal for American businesses and workers.

Chinese leaders in Beijing are in a four alarm panic right now. When we get to about 80 days in this 90 days cooling off period, they will cave. Ironically, the end result of the trade war is likely freer trade across the world. This will be good for America, and it will be good for China. It will be good for the rest of the global economy. While Democrat Andrew Gillum went through the usual litany of “free stuff from the government” and charges of racism that Democrats have been running on for years, Republican Congressman Ron DeSantis nationalized his message and homed-in on the issues that are on every television and computer screen in America: Law and order and illegal immigration.

Florida GOP candidates Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott have finally found their voices and nationalized their elections, and the Florida GOP is doing a great job getting absentee ballots returned ahead of the November 6 election, but to win they must keep the pedal to the metal.

The Democrats and their leftist mobs are in panic mode.  The few who have a smidgeon of lucidity left realize that their screaming antics during the Kavanaugh hearings and throughout the campaign are backfiring on them. That's why they don't want conservatives to make this a key theme in the final weeks of the election.

Despite the plan's virtues, Democrats in Congress are threatening to vote as a bloc to prevent passage of the trade pact. These are the same people who just a few months ago were complaining that Mr. Trump’s “reckless and dangerous” trade policies were harming the economy and alienating our allies. Now he has a deal that helps the economy and unifies our neighbors — and they are against it. They have exposed themselves as free trade hypocrites.

Democrats, including many of the Party’s national leaders, have now handed the GOP the opportunity to nationalize the election on the mob violence, incivility, radical Leftism and downright craziness that was on national TV during and after the Kavanaugh confirmation.

Although all sides gave ground, it was the Canadians who gave up the most and blinked first. Trudeau simply couldn’t afford the domestic political heat he’d face if he proved unable to cut a trade deal with Canada’s largest trading partner. Trudeau’s approval rating in the latest National Campaign Research Poll is down to 39 percent. His Liberal party trails the opposition Conservative party, led by Andrew Scheer, by 39 percent to 37 percent, with the next election due to be held no later than October 2019.

Conservatives have a two-step process to achieve a conservative Congress: First, keep the House and expand our numbers in the Senate. Second, put pressure on the Republican House majority to elect Jim Jordan Speaker to keep their promises on the Trump agenda going into 2020.

Past presidents of both parties have mostly bowed to globalists and other nations that have put the interests of their countries first. Mr. Trump, starting with his campaign, promised to put American interests first, not to the detriment of other countries — they also are benefitting — but to even out unfair deals that have harmed America and Americans. The best response to a policy that isn’t working, one based on flawed ideology, is to embrace a policy that works. The USMCA has the potential to do great things for the United States. There doesn’t seem to be a credible argument in opposition.
