Antifa Is the Natural Product of Our Educational System

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times

Whatever the psychological profiles of Antifa members, almost all of them share one thing: They went to American schools. And those schools, with only a few notable exceptions, talked down and continue to talk down the United States to one degree or another from kindergarten through Ph.D. Antifa members are therefore only doing what they have been taught all along, getting rid of a cancer called the United States. Antifa is an excruciating public manifestation of a very deep infection that has metastasized throughout our society from the schools. If things don't change, it will get worse.

Our Educational System Makes US Land of Useful Idiots

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times

For now, the excessive violence and destruction coupled with absurd socialist legislation that could have been written in Caracas may prevent the left from assuming immediate power and keep Trump in office for one more term. But give this educational system a few more years and we will be past the point of no return. We will fully be a nation of “useful idiots.” No matter who wins the election, what's needed now is a movement to take the schools back from the teachers’ unions, the politicians, and the so-called educational experts and return them to the people they are meant for—the students and their families.

AOC: The Perfect Graduate of Today's Biased Colleges

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media

This is a new form of proud Know-Nothingism. We can't even say it will come back to haunt us because it already is doing just that. Reforming our educational system is the most important mission of our time. Presidents come and go. Even media grandees come and go — after a while (too long a while). But education remains, shaping our future. Change it or everyone sitting in Congress will be AOC. (No it doesn't stand for All-Out Communist. But wait long enough and it could.)

Undermining America

Walter E. Williams, CNS News

If the leftists can convince the nation that men such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were good-for-nothing slave-owning racists, then their ideas can be more easily trashed. We find the greatest assaults on our founding documents on the nation's college campuses. The American people need to stop being sheeple and put a halt to the undermining of our nation taking place in our institutions of higher learning.

Here’s How Anti-Conservative Academic Discrimination Works

David French, National Review

Academics have redefined and refocused disciplines to such an extent that they essentially exclude conservative inquiry. Thus, they can honestly say they’ve never discussed politics in hiring decisions because the discipline itself has narrowed so much that it closes itself to conservatives.

Report: Chinese Government Has Placed 100+ Facilities In US Universities

Christopher C. Hull, Daily Caller

The Chinese government has quietly set up over 100 teaching and research centers (Confucius Institutes) to promote China’s point of view on college campuses across the U.S., and operates over 500 analogous programs at American K-12 schools, according to a report released by the National Association of Scholars (NAS).

The Twin Pillars of Progressive Prejudice

Victor Davis Hanson, National Review

The university and the media share two traits: Both industries have become arrogant and ignorant. We have created a climate, ethically and professionally, in which extremism has bred extremism, and bias is seen not as proof of journalistic and academic corruption, but of political purity. The recent election, and especially its aftermath, embarrassed journalists and academics alike — and should not be forgotten.

California Republicans Seek New Blood

Byron Tau, Politico

Repubs. are hoping that a bitter education fight in CA will convince Asian Americans to give the party another chance. A vocal segment of the CA Asian community teamed with conservative activists to block a proposed constitutional amendment that would bring affirmative action back to public universities.
