America’s Corporate Enemy #1 Coca-Cola

Updated: Apr 12, 2021

Let’s be clear about what the Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Company was doing when it lobbied

against Georgia’s new election integrity legislation and later spoke out against its passage; the company was lobbying to make it easier for Democrats to cheat and commit election fraud.

That’s right – the company that was at one time the world’s most recognized brand, that sustained Americans through two world wars, the Great Depression and was ubiquitous in American culture in good times and bad has come out in favor of making it easier to steal elections.

And the hypocrisy of the Coca-Cola Company’s executives and Board of Directors could not be more disgusting.

While they want Georgia to do away with voter ID and sensible and fair ballot security measures, they would never run their company that way:

To get into Coca-Cola headquarters you have to show ID.

To attend a Coca-Cola shareholder meeting, you have to show ID.

To vote in a Coca-Cola shareholders meeting you have to show ID, and prove you own stock in the Coca-Cola Company.

If you wish to vote your Coca-Cola shares by mail a valid ballot with chain of custody is required, there are no unattended drop boxes or unsecured vote tallying centers when a seat on the Board of the Coca-Cola Company is at stake.

In short, the new Georgia election integrity law makes it easier to vote in an election for President of the United States than it is to vote in the election of Coca-Cola’s next slate of Directors.

And who are Coca-Cola’s Directors?

What becomes clear as you read the biographies, political background, statements and views of Coke’s directors is that the Coca-Cola Company is no longer a consumer or food products company – it is a political institution with the political goal of remaking American political, cultural and economic institutions.

To that end the Coca-Cola Company’s CEO, James Quincey said after the Georgia election integrity legislation was signed, "Our focus is now on supporting federal legislation that protects voting access and addresses voter suppression across the country," Quincey said. "We all have a duty to protect everyone's right to vote, and we will continue to stand up for what is right in Georgia and across the US."

And Mr. Quincey has a plan to force everyone associated with the Coca-Cola Company into line. As he explained at the Davos Conference, big corporations play an important role in delivering lasting change. Not only can they create an inclusive workforce themselves, but they can also use their ecosystem to help drive the change through their suppliers.

In other words, a foreigner is telling Americans how to run our elections and is endorsing the Democrats’ ultimate plan to make America into a one-party state by passing H.R.1 or S. 1 as the Senate version is known. And he plans to use the economic power of the Coca-Cola Company to make sure the Company’s suppliers toe the line and support the new world order he envisions.

As Bryce Asberg concluded in a 2020 article for the Hillsdale College Collegian, “Corporate activism is particularly dangerous because it is so subtle. Few Americans know the decisions that go on in corporate boardrooms and shareholder meetings. You would think major media outlets would care about this way that democracy is dying in darkness, but so far they have had little to say. Perhaps any method, no matter how undemocratic, is acceptable if it can be used to advance progressive policy goals.”

We urge CHQ readers and friends to call and write the Directors of the Coca-Cola Company to tell them you are on to their game and that as long as Coke engages in Leftwing corporate activism you will no longer buy Coca-Cola products, including Coke, Sprite, Barq's Root Beer, Fanta, Dasani water, Smartwater, Minute Maid, Simply Orange and other fruit drinks, Costa Coffee, Fuze Tea and Honest Tea, Schweppes and Powerade.

Two things used to define America: CocaCola and Hershey's. I hope Hershey's stays away from this crass unAmericanism.

Someone tell me where, in this great country, voter suppression exists. Where exactly? Nothing is stopping anyone from getting registered and voting. Even dead people can make it happen! Suppression where? Very well said to point out how Coca-Cola makes sure they are very secure with ID but they don't want elections for our government to be. The government is more important than some stupid company...we should care about how we put people into power, that they were put in legitimately. We need voter ID. I'm insulted as a minority hearing how we can't get IDs for whatever reason. Yet people need ID to drive, buy tobacco, buy alcohol, buy medicine in some cases, enter certain buildings...it's all over the…

Wow ! ! I read each of the statements regarding the leadership of Coka Cola in the article above . Absolutely amazing ! Based on the bios of the Members of Coke's Board , Coka Cola is no longer an American company. I think the State of Georgia should consider revoking Coka Cola's Charter of Incorporation . By letting Coke hold onto its charter of incorporation , we are protecting Coke's shareholders . That's what incorporation is. It is a governmental system designed to provide protection for owners of businesses in order to induce the formation of businesses and to in…
