Led by principled limited government constitutional conservative Representative Louie Gohmert (TX-01) a growing number of Republicans and conservatives in Congress have
demanded, in the wake of the unfolding disaster in Afghanistan, that President Joe Biden resign, or face an impeachment inquiry.
Rep. Gohmert issued this statement calling for President Biden to resign following the tragic deaths of U.S. Service Members in Afghanistan:
“The tragedy that happened today at the Kabul airport was completely avoidable. The President had the power to prevent this attack but refused to listen to the people that knew how it could be avoided. He trusted the Taliban with our service members’ lives. Now precious lives have been lost.
“Last week, President Biden vowed that ‘any attack on our forces or disruption of our operations at the airport will be met with swift and forceful response.’
“When asked during a press briefing today about the retaliatory strike promised by the President, CENTCOM Commander, General Kenneth McKenzie, Jr. said that ISIS was responsible for the attack. He also said that the Taliban was responsible for the Bagram Airfield outer perimeter security. In addition, he confirmed there were two vehicle born IED suicide attacks.
“General McKenzie further stated they will do everything they can to stop the ISIS attacks and ‘... that includes reaching out to the Taliban who are providing the outer security cordon around the airfield and make sure they know what we expect them to do.’
“The Taliban allowed two vehicle-born IEDs into the airport today. If ISIS actually blew themselves up there, then the Taliban allowed them into a position where they could kill Americans.
“We need a Commander-in-Chief who will take ‘swift and forceful’ action. The deterrent effect may save the remaining Americans in Afghanistan.
“Yet, now that we know President Biden puts precious American lives in the hands of our sworn enemies, he is not that Commander-in-Chief. It is time for him to resign.”
My Congressman, Rep. Byron Donalds, on Monday joined Rep. Gohmert’s call for President Joe Biden to resign.
“Calling on the leader of the free world to resign his office immediately weighs heavy on my heart, but this must happen to restore American’s safety both at home and abroad, our honor, and faith in the Chief Executive to faithfully execute the duties of the Presidency,” the Naples Republicans wrote on Facebook reported by Jacob Ogles of Florida Politics. “It has become clear that President Biden has lost complete and total confidence of the American people through his haphazard decision to withdraw from Afghanistan,” Donalds said. “This botched withdrawal is currently threatening the lives of our servicemen and women, the stability in the region, and our integrity on the global stage.”
As of Monday, at least 20 House Republicans have called for Biden to resign or be impeached, including House Republican Conference Chairman Elise Stefanik (NY-21), thereby validating the wisdom of electing her to replace Pelosi Republican Liz Cheney of Wyoming as House GOP Conference Chair.
Cleveland's FOX 8 reports Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has now introduced three impeachment resolutions against the president for his handling of Afghanistan, the U.S./Mexico border and “ignoring the ruling of the Supreme Court” regarding their decision on not extending the evictions moratorium.
“In seven short months, Joe Biden has caused America to lose the respect of the entire world. The evidence is clear and his actions are so egregious that he must be impeached,” Greene said in a statement last week.
While the establishment media likes to portray Rep. Taylor Greene as a lonely outlier, multiple members of congress, including South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan (SC-3) and Tennessee Rep. Diana Harshbarger (TN-1) have expressed similar sentiments, and two, Rep. Mary E. Miller (IL-5) and Rep. Paul Gosar (AZ-4) are cosponsors of Rep. Taylor Greene’s latest resolution.
Rep. Harshbarger was particularly cogent in her summary of the case against Biden, saying, “President Biden’s failure to have a well-planned conditions-based withdrawal from Afghanistan has put American troops and citizens in harm’s way and has now cost the lives of at least twelve U.S. service members. Today’s attacks on the Kabul airport are horrific and I’m praying for the victims and their families. This disastrous withdrawal was avoidable had President Biden had any plan whatsoever on getting Americans and our allies out. For example, Bagram Air Base should not have been abandoned before the withdrawal was completed.
“President Biden’s mishandling of the withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan, along with his Administration’s self-inflicted national security crisis on our southern border and his reckless spending proposals that are causing inflation and the price of goods to skyrocket, make it clear he is not fit for the responsibilities of the presidency. President Biden should be impeached.”
If there is any good to be realized from the death and disaster Biden has spawned in Afghanistan it is that Republicans and conservatives are united as never before, many of us seeing what’s going on in Afghanistan as a metaphor for the wrecking operation Biden and the Democrats are conducting here in America.
The toll-free Capitol Switchboard is (1-866-220-0044), we urge CHQ readers and friends to call your Representative and demand they cosponsor Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s resolution to impeach President Joe Biden.

So then we are saddled with the hare-brained, halfwit, airhead, Kamala Harris! After that, the addled, insane Pelosi! Then what? Better to get this Asinine administration declared illegal and get Trump back!
Kamala was Biden's impeachment or assassination insurance. She would be even worse. And if she was removed, who is next? Pelosi.
President Biden vowed that ‘any attack on our forces or disruption of our operations at the airport will be met with swift and forceful response.’ Ah, yes, another red line in the sand.
I'm just an average person, but even I can see that our so-called leaders have no foresight. We could, and should, have kept Bagram AB. It was secure and could have been made more secure. It would have enabled us to maintain a foothold in that part of the world just as we have done in European countries and South Korea. Now we have nothing in that area, but the threats posed by the people there may even be worse than those threats that became eviden…
Many problems we face as a nation are partially a result of non-conservative Republican office holders. It may be time to replace the GOP. To that end, I have a suggestion for a new political party. Please check it out:

Will they be require to return the money Biden's got over a billion from China... Once again, look at the money the Biden's have received from China, Russia, those decisions he made to…
