There are few more despicable human beings involved in today’s politics than former Republican U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger.
Kinzinger, while in Congress, was one of the original vectors of Trump Derangement Syndrome or TDS. He has been at the center of virtually every attempt to destroy Donald Trump and stymie the America First agenda; first, by voting against policies supported by most Republican voters and later by voting for the phony Ukraine impeachment of President Trump. He also voted to create, and was subsequently appointed to serve on, the select committee to investigate the January 6, 2021, United States Capitol protest that later destroyed its records, suborned false testimony from witnesses and ruined the lives of numerous innocent J6 protestors.
Now he is running around the country campaigning for Democrats who oppose everything he claimed to stand for when he ran for Congress as a Republican.
A big part of Kinzinger’s fake political persona is his service in the Air Force Special Operations Command and the macho vibe he tries to sell as a former Air Force pilot.
Above is an Air Force PR photo of then-Congressman Kinzinger’s play-along with a 22nd Training Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) specialist in an urban evasion tactics familiarization demonstration as part of his Aug. 3, 2015, visit to Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. Kinzinger, holding a pistol, is the middle person in the three-man string.
The Air Force’s SERE School is an internationally recognized program to equip pilots and other "at-risk of isolation personnel" with the mental and physical tools needed to avoid or survive capture. It is unclear to us what level of SERE training Kinzinger achieved, but he was certainly a likely candidate for the more advanced courses. The number one point on the list of skills needed for survival starting with the basic class is “use weapons properly and effectively.”
Given Kinzinger’s military background and the machoman vibe he likes to project we were astonished at what we saw when pictures surfaced on social media of his shooting outing with pro-abortion, pro-gun control Democrat Lucas Kunce, the Democrats’ longshot candidate against Republican Josh Hawley in Missouri’s U.S. Senate election.
There were Kinzinger and Kunce shooting AR-style modern sporting rifles at steel targets just steps in front of the firing line.
Checking the pictures it is hard to know where to start the analysis of how unsafe, irresponsible and just plain dumb Kinzinger and Kunce are as they handle firearms in front of a group of supporters, journalists and staff.
Let’s start with the obvious – shooting a scoped rifle at steel targets five or six yards away isn’t much of a challenge, but it is very dangerous given the prospect of bullet fragments or ricochets hitting someone on the firing line.
Shooting steel targets that close is even dumber without using eye protection, as Kinzinger has his glasses on top of his head, not in front of his eyes. And then there’s the stance and the way he has his rifle shouldered… and is that Tannerite? Oy Vey.
And true to the immutable laws of the shooting sports, if one guy in the party is unsafe, then everyone is unsafe, so someone got hit.
Missouri TV reporter Ryan Gamboa was predictably struck in the arm by a bullet fragment allegedly from a round fired by Lucas Kunce. Gamboa was later checked out at a nearby hospital as a precaution, according to KSHB 41, but is reportedly OK.
According to reporting by the New York Post, Kunce is also a veteran who served 13 years in the Marines. Kunce has consistently emphasized his military service throughout his run and in television ads, with many featuring him using a gun to appeal to Missouri’s many Pro-Second Amendment voters.
Where does Lucas Kunce stand on gun control, you ask? When asked “Do you generally support gun-control legislation?” Kunce answered "Yes" (justfacts.votesmart.org)
"I've been in urban and rural Missouri, and everyone agrees that we need background checks and red flag laws so that we can prevent criminals, teenagers, and terrorists from accessing guns. The fact that Congress still hasn't been able to pass these is a disgrace. We need to abolish the filibuster and pass commonsense gun safety legislation. We also need to invest in training programs. When I joined the Marines, I wasn't just handed a weapon. I went through extensive background checks and proper training. Training programs will help reduce gun violence and create safer communities." (justfacts.votesmart.org)
Strangely left out of Kunce’s list of those who should be prevented from accessing guns are grandstanding Democrats seeking political office. Perhaps “training programs will help reduce gun violence and create safer communities,” but first you must be smart enough and diligent enough to actually follow your training, and Kinzinger and Kunce have obviously failed both those tests.

And those are just some of the more obvious screw-ups!
My old DI from back in the day would have personally wrung this guy's neck. And he wouldn't have been the only one. Everyone else in the platoon would have strangled him as well. But we're supposed to trust this guy with the responsibility of running the country when he can't even handle a weapon that he supposedly qualified on. Thanks but no thanks. My 10-year-old grandson knows more about weapon safety and handling than this fool will ever know.
