When it became clear Republican or Democratic control of the Senate is going to hinge on
Georgia’s two Senate runoff races to be held January 5, former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang announced he would be moving to Georgia to help give his party the best chance to sweep the critical seats.
"Great news #yanggang - Evelyn and I are moving to Georgia to help Ossoff and Reverend Warnock win!" Yang wrote on Twitter on Nov. 7. "This is our only chance to clear Mitch [McConnell] out of the way and help Joe [Biden] and Kamala [Harris] get things done in the next 4 years. More details to come but let’s go!!!"
But Yang isn’t the only Democrat who may be moving to Georgia to swing the crucial runoff vote into the Democrats’ column.
Due to a loophole in Georgia’s election law virtually anyone who is in Georgia around the election and claims they plan to stay can vote.
"I hope everybody moves to Georgia, you know, in the next month or two, registers to vote and votes for these two Democratic senators," New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman told CNN.
"These run-offs will decide which party controls the Senate, and this, whether we’ll have any hope of a large stimulus/climate bill. If you have the means and fervor to make a temporary move to GA, believe anyone who registers by Dec 7 can vote in these elections," Intelligencer's Eric Levitz wrote in a now-deleted tweet that was captured by Washington Examiner reporter Jerry Dunleavy.
These Far Left opinion leaders are urging “blue voters” from other states to temporarily move to the Peach State before December 7th so they can register as a “Georgia voter.” In fact, liberal activists are on social media right now inviting “Northern Democrats” and “West Coast Liberals” to “spend the Winter in Georgia!!!” (actual quotes)
Right now, these Democratic operatives are trying to steal Georgia’s January 5th Senate runoff elections. This is wrong! Every fraudulent vote deprives real Georgians of their right to choose their own Senators.
That’s why it’s so important for Georgia’s leaders and legislators to stop Democrats from stealing another election by convening a special legislative session and strengthening Georgia’s voter residency requirements!
Yet, with control of the U.S. Senate and the future of our country at stake, Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp, Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, and House Speaker David Ralston have shown themselves to be so far unwilling to call a special session to tighten residency requirements. And unless they change their mind, fake “residents” could turn Georgia – and potentially the U.S. Senate – blue.

I am writing because we’ve already seen enough fraud in this year’s elections -- and if you don't take action, we're about to see more.
Right now, Democratic operatives are trying to steal Georgia’s January 5th Senate runoff elections. They are openly working to exploit Georgia's weak residency requirements by urging “blue voters” from other states to temporarily move to the Peach State before December 7th so they can register as a “Georgia voters.” In fact, liberal activists are on social media right now inviting “Northern Democrats” and “West Coast Liberals” to “spend the Winter in Georgia!!!” (these are actual quotes!)
You are committed to Putting Georgians First, and this is an important opportunity to do so! Every vote cast by these fraudsters steals real Georgians’ right to choose their own Senators.
That's why I urge you to call a special legislative session to tighten Georgia's residency requirements. If you don't, fake “residents” will turn Georgia – and potentially the U.S. Senate – blue. Please prevent that by ensuring Georgia's elections are for Georgians only!
Please take action now to urge Georgia's Republican leaders and legislators to stop Democrats from stealing another election by convening a special legislative session and strengthening Georgia's voter residency requirements!

I want to point out something interesting that I heard about yesterday. What does the Constitution of the State of Georgia have to say about this plan? Article II, Section II, Paragraph II states that, "A run-off election shall be a continuation of the general election and only persons who were entitled to vote in the general election shall be entitled to vote therein." That pretty much means that any new residents that happen to show up after the general election are not allowed to vote in the runoff.
