John Sullivan, the Far Left BLM and ANTIFA activist who can allegedly be heard egging on
participants at the January 6 brawl at the U.S. Capitol appears to have been incriminated by video he provided to the FBI, according to a federal criminal complaint. He has also shared the video to his YouTube and Twitter accounts under the pseudonym Jayden X.
Sullivan was charged Thursday in federal court in Washington after being arrested by the FBI. He remains in custody in Toeele County, in his home state of Utah, on a U.S. Marshals Service hold request.
Inside the building, he told rioters that "We got to get this s--- burned," and "it’s our house m------------," according to an affidavit signed by FBI Special Agent Matthew Foulger.
He faces federal charges of civil disorder, entering a restricted building and violent entry or disorderly conduct, according to reporting by Fox News.
Sullivan also allegedly told Foulger that he had been in the Capitol during the riot, entering through a broken window while wearing a ballistic vest.
As protesters climbed over a wall near the Capitol entrance, he allegedly exclaimed in the video, "You guys are f------ savage. Let’s go!"
"There are so many people," Sullivan’s voice can be heard saying as the camera shows a large group of people making its way toward the building. "Let’s go. This s--- is ours! F-- yeah. I can’t believe this is reality."
"We accomplished this s---," he said at another point "We did this together. F--- yeah! We are all a part of this history."
Our particular interest in Mr. Sullivan is what connection he may have to the killing of Ashli Babbitt.
According to reporting by KSL-TV’s KSL.com Sullivan said he made his way inside the Capitol during the riot and witnessed the shooting death of Ashli Babbitt, and the Twitter account for Insurgence USA retweeted video from someone with Sullivan that shows the shooting and the aftermath.
"I have video of it," he said, describing in detail seeing the flash of the gun, the bullet strike Babbitt, and Babbitt's reaction as she died there on the floor. "I am hesitant to post it. ... It's something I have to take in. I hope that people get a grasp of that situation. Whoever shot her, maybe should be held accountable. I guess that's up to the law to decide."
Sullivan, who is the founder of Insurgence USA, a Leftwing social justice group that calls itself anti-fascist and protests police brutality, was detained by Washington police for about an hour and a half Thursday night and later said police questioned him about being inside the Capitol and witnessing the shooting death of Ms. Babbitt. In the immediate aftermath of the brawl at the Capitol and Ms. Babbitt’s death he was not arrested; despite the claims he was one of the individuals inciting the violence – that oversight has now been corrected.
Sullivan also faces two criminal charges stemming from a Leftwing protest he organized in Provo, Utah last June, but nothing from his participation in the January 6 violence at the Capitol.
Charging documents say Sullivan recorded several hours of the protest and is seen in the recordings "kicking vehicles and threatening drivers" and directing protesters to block intersections.
During that protest, a Provo man, 60, was shot in the elbow after protesters blocked his vehicle. Sullivan later admitted to police that he knew who the gunman was but failed to report it to authorities, according to the charges filed against Sullivan.
Our view is that John Sullivan may be a key player in the Leftwing violence at the Capitol and we urge the FBI to take his involvement in this and his other alleged crimes as an opportunity to peel back the layers of secrecy surrounding the violent criminal subculture to which he belongs.

An idea occurred to me yesterday. All of a sudden i thought that the raid on the capital could have had a second purpose . The first : was to make Trump supporters look bad . And the second may have been to justify bringing in the National Guard, many many police and tons of fencing just to make it look like Trump fans might actually go to the capital on inauguration day. I'm a Trump supporter and i would never consider going to Mr. Biden's inauguration. So, it seems to me that the raid on the capital was for the…
