Obama Puts Final Banana Peel Under Joe

The real power behind the throne at the White House, former President Barack Obama has allegedly joined calls for Joe Biden to end his reelection campaign, which senior Democrats say could happen as early as this weekend, Axios and the Associated Press reported Thursday.

According to The Washington Post, Obama is telling allies he thinks Biden has little choice but to bail out and save face, both for himself and for the Democratic Party.

Biden’s campaign denied the Axios report, stating firmly that the President is “running for reelection” and that “baseless conjecture from anonymous sources isn’t a scoop.”

But the denial did nothing to tamp down the mounting feeling among senior Democrats that the end is nigh for Biden, reported Leftwing rag The Daily Beast.

Former Speaker of the House Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are also reportedly pushing Biden to exit the race. If he doesn’t, they’ve signaled that a ticket with Biden at the top could have a catastrophic effect on down-ticket Democratic candidates for Congress.

House of Representatives Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, in separate private meetings with Biden in the past week, told him that Democrats would have a tough time winning either chamber of Congress if he remained as the party's presidential candidate.

A total of 20 Democratic lawmakers have publicly called for Biden to end his reelection bid, although many more have privately expressed concerns about his political fate, the Voice of America reported. Yesterday, John Hickenlooper, the senator from Colorado, became the second Democratic member of the upper chamber to publicly call on the president to step aside.

Pelosi do-boy Rep. Adam Schiff, the Democrats’ Senate candidate in California, who has tight connections to powerful party donors, went public and asked Biden to end his campaign for the good of the party, the Daily Beast reported.

Major donors have also fallen off a cliff, reported NBC News. Grassroots fundraising is not keeping up with the demands of a campaign that needs to aggressively scale up three months before the presidential election.

The concerns over his age have some faithful A-list donors in one of the most liberal corners of the US turning their back on Mr. Biden, with several publicly withdrawing their support and calling for him to be replaced, the BBC’s US bureau reported.

Even before George Clooney, a prominent Democratic fundraiser, authored a damaging opinion piece calling for Mr. Biden to step aside as the party's candidate, a group of major Democratic Party donors “froze” some $90 million in planned donations and one of the Democratic Party’s major bundlers, Hollywood mogul Jeffery Katzenberg, told Biden point blank money was drying up.

Social media has been full of similar sentiments from the likes of Abigail Disney, John Cusack, Stephen King, Rob Reiner and more.

The chorus of film industry surrogates signals a worsening situation for the president, observed the BBC. Biden is also facing pressure from a growing number of Democratic lawmakers who say he should drop out of the race. Hollywood's A-listers are dismissed as "elites" by some Republicans, but they are reliable Democratic donors who offer influence in reaching voters across demographics and ages.

“My friend George Clooney has clearly expressed what many of us have been saying,” Rob Reiner, an actor, filmmaker and prominent liberal, wrote on X. “Democracy is facing an existential threat. We need someone younger to fight back. Joe Biden must step aside,” the BBC reported.

Likewise, Abigail Disney, a filmmaker and great niece of Walt Disney, told CNBC last week that she would withhold donations until Mr. Biden dropped out of the race.

“I intend to stop any contributions to the party unless and until they replace Biden at the top of the ticket. This is realism, not disrespect,” Disney said, according to the BBC report. “If Biden does not step down the Democrats will lose, of that I am absolutely certain."

Yahoo News reported a person with knowledge of the projections said the Biden campaign now expects it will raise only 25% of the big donor money it had originally projected to raise in July — that’s a further downgrade from the expectation last week that large-dollar fundraising would be down by as much as 50%. The money has “dried up,” this person said.

Members of Biden’s own re-election effort have already declared he has no path, but Biden was having none of it until Obama chimed in. With Obama pulling his support how long will it take for Biden to drop out?

All the leftist goons are screaming "Duh-mock-acy, duh-mock-acy", while at the same time allowing elitists to pick their candidate...instead of the voters wishes in the primaries being honored. The Democ-rats, and their name, is a bad joke told by hypocrites. It is amusing though that the real joke is on Joke Biden. No one deserves to be dumped like a sack full of **** more.
