The Right Resistance: Kamala’s Biden butting in problem has no easy or convenient solution

With all of the blather and hype surrounding the lead-up to this year’s election, you may have overlooked the claim from 3-time Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump that president senile Joe Biden and his vice-president-turned Democrat fill-in nominee, cackling Kamala Harris, don’t like each other.

Trump and others haven’t been so polite in their characterization of the top Democrats’ true relationship -- I believe the words were “hate each other” -- but the meaning is the same. Biden and Harris have earnestly worked to portray their personal and working relationship as cordial and even friendly, but experts in body language and other non-verbal signals say otherwise.

In fact, for a long time, it’s been my belief that supposed chums Barack Obama and senile Joe Biden really aren’t fond of each other either. Call it a hunch backed up by random comments (“Never underestimate Joe’s ability to f—k things up”) and the fact Biden has gone out of his way to x-out joint public appearances between the two, and the inference becomes obvious.

But Joe n’ Kamala are repelled by each other too? Well, there’s more to it than simple speculation. The current president has gone far out of his way to step on his vice president in the latter stages of her presidential campaign, so much so that lots of gossip spreaders wonder what they really think of each other. In an article titled, “President Biden keeps upstaging Kamala Harris, and it’s making Democrats anxious”, Jeff Mordock reported at The Washington Times last week:

“Ms. Harris has less than a month to prove to the American people that she has what it takes to be president. She is trying to take the lead on Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton and the Middle East conflict. But even as Ms. Harris tries to assert her leadership, Mr. Biden keeps pushing her out of the limelight.

“Democrats get anxious every time Mr. Biden pops up on Americans’ television screens because they fear he’ll remind voters of his unpopularity and thwart Ms. Harris’ already weak efforts to distance herself from him.

“Ms. Harris argues that she’s the change candidate in this election. His constant presence reminds Americans of why he dropped out of the race,’ said a party operative who agreed to talk anonymously. ‘Biden’s popularity and gaffes haven’t gotten better since he ended his campaign.’ ‘The only person who wants Biden out in front of voters is Trump,’ the operative continued.”

Ain’t that the truth. Trump seeks to remind voters that senile Joe Biden is technically still in charge and will be doddering in front of podiums and cameras for the better part of another three months. And technically speaking, there’s not a darn thing she can do about it, either.

Democrats should have remembered from 50 years’ worth of past experience with him that Biden is astonishingly self-centered, a glory hound, suspicious of everyone around him, eternally jealous and envious, unwilling to ever defer to anyone and a grade-A level jackass that he wouldn’t ever transfer over authority until he’s darn good and ready to do it. Don’t forget that “Dr.” Jill is still lurking around somewhere, and she supposedly has his ear all to herself from bedtime (7 o’clock?) to dawn. And then some.

Liberals should’ve figured it would be this way – namely, that Biden wouldn’t deferentially fade to the background so as to allow cackling Kamala to hog the attention and lay claim to all his “accomplishments”. Uh-uh. That’s not how Joe Biden rolls. He’s still the top dog in charge until January 20th of next year, and he’s going to savor every moment while attempting to add to his legacy before it’s too late.

Plus, it seems apparent he’s terrified of giving too much power to Kamala so early – because he knows she’ll screw things up. Heck, if Kamala moves him out prematurely, everything that’s somewhat in order will fall to he-l almost instantly. Biden knows better than anyone how incompetent Harris is. He wouldn’t risk it.

Besides, recent establishment media news has provided the impression that senile Joe is really doing a stellar job, hasn’t it?

Democrats, including senile Joe Biden and cackling Kamala Harris, have made much hay recently over the official government releases that inflation appears to have stabilized. It’s still over two percent, but compared with the nine-plus percent rate not too long ago, Democrats can now stick their heads outside the tent and show their faces on cable news shows without dreading the mention of the “I” word.

Here, like so many other areas where Democrats rely on the ignorance of your typical low-information voter, is an example of what the Democrat powers-that-be would label “misinformation”. Have you noticed how prevalent that word has become of late? Both Biden and administration mouthpiece Karine Jean-Pierre, as well as increasingly desperate and despicable cackling Kamala Harris, have made generous use of “misinformation” trying to make people believe that Democrats hold a monopoly on truth and Trump and Republicans are all liars.

This is hardly unexpected in the heat of a close presidential race, but it appears the disaster focus recently (mostly hurricanes) has breathed new life into the “misinformation” myth Democrats are fond of spreading. Democrats clearly reason that simply disagreeing with the authorities constitutes “misinformation” or “disinformation”, and therefore anyone who objects to the Biden/Harris decisions is “un-American” and simply not trustworthy.

It reminds me of the old days on the playground when an incident occurs and those involved try to explain what happened to the teacher afterwards, only to see one side get increasingly frustrated at their inability to present an argument – and begin griping and whining, to cries of, “he’s spreading misinformation!” “He’s a liar!” “He’s not being American!” “It’s not who we are!”

Okay, maybe not. But much of what Donald Trump has said about the administration’s storm response (at least in terms of Hurricane Helene) is objectively true, and he (Trump) is entitled under Freedom of Speech to say anything he wants.

Similarly, the Democrats’ spin on the inflation issue is phony and not likely to produce the results they intended. While it’s true that the growth of inflation has indeed cooled from its superheated high under the Biden/Harris brand, all those price increases that took place between Donald Trump’s final days and now are baked into the pie. Yet Democrats count on ignorant people to buy into their claims, neglecting the fact you can’t get a Fast Food meal for under ten bucks any longer.

Yes, that’s where the inflation shows up for average Americans, even more so than at the gas pump. The Biden/Harris people have manipulated fuel prices, too, so they’re asserting that their energy policies are working. And that illegal immigration arrests at the border are way, way down – but they disavow the millions of invaders that have already come into the country in the previous three-plus years.

If you don’t believe this, revisit cackling Kamala’s interview on 60 Minutes last week, where the Democrat nominee tried talking her way out of the well-accepted notion that the Biden/Harris administration fostered a wave of illegal entries. Isn’t this the classic definition of “misinformation”?

It turns out that cackling Kamala, when she ventures outside her comfortable confines (or even when she’s among friends), isn’t very good at explaining the rationale for electing her president.

Harris’s lack of intellect and ability to think on her feet should be more concerning to Democrats than being “upstaged” by senile Joe Biden. Kamala herself gave the best shout out possible to Biden’s and her administration by suggesting she couldn’t think of a single thing that she’d do differently over the past three and a half years if she had been in charge. Here’s thinking Kamala probably couldn’t remember much from those years anyway, so she couldn’t exactly say what she’d change.

All along this campaign season, Democrats have tried hard to suggest that electing Harris to replace senile Joe would bring both continuity and change at the same time. Continuity reassures the party’s base voters that Kamala is every bit as leftwing and controllable as Biden was, and the change part would be covered by Harris’s skin color, gender and other immutable characteristics that come along with being a black and Indian woman from California supplanting an old broken-down white man from the mid-Atlantic.

Hasn’t Kamala been labeled the female version of Obama? Therefore, why would Democrats fret that senile Joe is hogging too much of the media attention these days?

Of course, the mystery is what cackling Kamala and her campaign brains can do about it if they really feel that Biden is intentionally showing up whenever Harris seemingly has the spotlight to herself. She walks a delicate line here, because senile Joe, as current president and the party’s premier elder statesman, can pretty much do whatever he pleases.

I doubt Biden would do anything intentionally to hurt Harris’s campaign even if he actually despises her. A Kamala loss in the election would cement senile Joe’s place in the bottom tier of all presidents, a status that he wouldn’t relish (and would deny until his dying day).

Kamala’s campaign people could gently contact the White House and say they’ve noticed that the president seems to appear at the most inopportune times and simply ask him to be aware of certain occasions when she’d need the stage to herself – for both their sakes.

Or, they could simply get a copy of the president’s daily schedule and work around his events. Let’s face it, Biden doesn’t actually do much, so there’s more than enough opportunity to create buzz independent of senile Joe and his signature whispering, facial expressions, flashes of anger and gritting his teeth.

Just like in the GOP, personalities tend to clash in the upper echelon of the Democrat party. There’s only so much notoriety to split between the egos, and even someone as obtuse as senile Joe Biden must realize the party’s presidential candidate doesn’t want him around. It’s just part of the story as the election gets ever nearer.
