Trump’s Visit To Arlington National Cemetery – The Issue Is Never The Issue

Vice President Kamala Harris said former President Donald Trump “disrespected sacred ground” in his recent appearance at Arlington National Cemetery.

After attacking former President Trump by repeating previously debunked allegations concerning his respect for military service, Harris posted to X:

"If there is one thing on which we as Americans can all agree, it is that our veterans, military families, and service members should be honored, never disparaged, and treated with nothing less than our highest respect and gratitude.

“And it is my belief that someone who cannot meet this simple, sacred duty should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States of America.

“I will always honor the service and sacrifice of all of America’s fallen heroes, who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our beloved nation and our cherished freedoms. I mourn them and salute them. And I will never politicize them."

We all know Harris – like Obama before her – is just going through the politically necessary motions with respect to anything having to do with honoring military service and those killed in the line of duty.

That’s why the Gold Star Families of the Abbey Gate 13 invited Donald Trump to their service of remembrance and did not invite Harris or Biden.

In direct response to Harris’s criticism of former President Trump the Gold Star Families who lost their loved ones in the Harris-Biden Administration's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan released the following joint statement and heartfelt video messages to Kamala Harris's false, hypocritical, and disrespectful statement attacking President Trump:

"We, the families of the brave service members who were tragically killed in the Abbey Gate bombing, are appalled by Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent attempts to politicize President Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery. President Trump was invited by us, the Gold Star families, to attend the solemn ceremonies commemorating the three-year anniversary of our children's deaths. He was there to honor their sacrifice, yet Vice President Harris has disgracefully twisted this sacred moment into a political ploy.

Vice President Harris bears responsibility for the deaths of our sons and daughters. Her administration’s catastrophic mishandling of the Afghanistan withdrawal directly led to the murder of 13 service members, including our children. Despite our multiple requests for a meeting to discuss the loss of our loved ones, Vice President Harris has repeatedly ignored us, showing a complete lack of empathy and accountability. This refusal to face the consequences of her administration's decisions is a deep betrayal to us as Gold Star families.

President Trump, on the other hand, has been the only Commander-in-Chief to consistently recognize the heroism of our children. His attendance at Arlington was not for political gain but to stand with us, to grieve with us, and to honor the legacy of those who gave everything for this nation. His leadership during his time in office was strong, and we have no doubt that if he were still Commander-in-Chief, our children would be alive today.

Vice President Harris has proven herself unfit to serve as Commander-in-Chief. Her actions, both in the failure of the Afghanistan withdrawal and in her disgraceful politicization of this anniversary, have shown that she lacks the judgment, compassion, and leadership required for the position. We will continue to hold her accountable for the role she played in the deaths of our children, and we will not stand by as she disrespects their memory. America deserves better. Our children deserved better."

The Biden – Harris disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan is a metaphor for many of the failures of Democratic Party national security policy, particularly in the Muslim world, but why is the Arlington Cemetery photograph story more than a one-day “he said, she said” kind of a story?

For example: the communists working at Arlington National Cemetery tried to stop President Trump from attending a ceremony that he was invited to attend by the grieving Gold Star families who wished to honor their dead children.

No, you are not dreaming.

No, it’s not a case of miscommunication.

This is a real story. This actually happened.

Rep. Darrell Issa told The Daily Caller: “This administration absolutely interfered with the tributes to the 13 fallen. In its war on Trump, it made the Gold Star families collateral damage.”

That’s right: the communists don’t just control the FBI, CIA, DHS, DoD, FEMA, FDA, CDC, State Department, the White House, and every other acronym in the Federal Government but they also control the cemeteries. And they have no problem interfering in the funeral plans of dead American soldiers at Arlington.

What do the wishes of Gold Star families mean to them?

Zero. Nada. Nothing.

They don’t mind lying about the whole thing either: “Arlington Cemetery officials claimed the families didn’t want any media, photography, or videography at Section 60, contradicting what the families had actually requested. The families were fine with the media, designated by the Trump team, but Arlington kept pushing back, obstructing the process,” a source told The Daily Caller’s Henry Rodgers.

I continue to warn you: only one side is serious about holding power in America right now, and it's the communists — and they don't care about fair elections, or laws, or democracy.

Meanwhile, the GOP is prepared to write harshly-worded letters of complaint to the communists — but only after they fully fund the FBI to keep arresting January 6th protesters.

What does that mean? It means that you’re already living in a one-party state.

You just don’t know it yet.

It doesn’t matter if the controversy is large or small, or even true and a real controversy. Remember, the issue is never the issue, the issue is the Revolution. For the Marxist – the Communist – every field of human endeavor is a battleground and an opportunity to advance the Revolution. Exercising power, even in such a remote corner of the government as the military cemeteries, is an opportunity to undermine Donald Trump and tighten their hold on the federal government.
