It is hard to identify which Democrat elected official is the worst public servant in America. Between President Joe Biden, various big city mayors, Michigan’s Governor Gretchen
Whitmer, California’s Governor Gavin Newsom, and New York’s Governor Kathy Hochul there are a lot of contenders, but for our money New York’s Attorney General Leticia James tops the list.
For her naked partisanship in law enforcement, using her office to attack enemies, including Donald Trump and her fellow Democrat former Governor Andrew Cuomo, her slavish adherence to “woke” politics, and sheer incompetence in other matters under her purview Leticia James is a monster without peer in today’s politics.
Crime in New York has gotten so bad that, as David Marcus explained in an article for Spectator World:
It has become so de rigueur that every time news of a heinous crime is reported, New Yorkers just naturally expect the next thing they will hear is, “the suspect has been arrested twenty-seven times and was awaiting trial.” That’s just how it is these days thanks to James and her ilk.
The Trump-chasing attorney general was not only a huge proponent of these deadly and broken laws when she was in the state assembly; she still supports them. She twists statistics like a losing gambler trying to convince himself he is actually up for the weekend, when everyone in the state, including many in her own party, understand that the soft-on-crime approach is fast rendering the city and state deeply unsafe for its citizens.
Fortunately, New York’s hard-pressed citizens of all political persuasions have an alternative in Republican candidate for Attorney General of New York Michael Henry.
Mr. Henry is everything Leticia James is not – a capable lawyer, a person of integrity, and an unabashed advocate of applying the law and the Constitution to all persons equally without consideration of race, creed, color, or political affiliation.
Mr. Henry is admitted to practice in the State of New York, Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and has successfully represented numerous asylum seekers fleeing Communist China before the Executive Office of Immigration Review.
An extremely effective communicator, Michael Henry has appeared as both a legal and political analyst on local and national television and talk radio programs, has authored columns on a variety of topics over the years, including immigration, and public policy, and has worked with both political candidates and political organizations throughout the United States.
Unlike his opponent, a Democrat professional political operative who has done nothing but work in “woke” politics, Mr. Henry is a person of broad horizons – he spent time abroad while earning his M.A. in International Relations with an additional Graduate Certification in International Law and Diplomacy. He’s been a member of the Federalist Society since law school. Michael is also a member of multiple Italian American Lawyers associations.
And Mr. Henry’s communication skills and his commitment to fighting crime and restoring integrity to the office of Attorney General of New York are having an effect – right now Michael Henry is polling ahead of Leticia James and if the trends continue, he will win.
A Trafalgar/Insider Advantage Poll released September 13 put Michael Henry ahead of Letitia James in the race for Attorney General.
“This is a winnable race and I am excited that New Yorkers have welcomed me into their communities so that I could listen to issues that transcend political affiliation. New Yorkers are sick and tired of rising crime, corruption and skyrocketing cost of living. Together, we are all going to put an end to pro-criminal policies like bail reform that continues to generate victim after victim after victim. We are going to root out the culture of pay-to-play corruption that corrodes confidence in government. And, we are going to reduce cost-of-living in this state,” said Henry.
The poll of 1,091 likely general election voters was conducted between August 31 and September 1.
But to ensure that victory isn’t snatched away he needs four things:
First, early voting has just started in New York and Michael Henry needs every Republican, Conservative and fed-up Democrat and independent to return their ballot marked “Michael Henry for Attorney General.”
Second, he needs the money to stay on TV, radio, in the mailbox and in the in-box, to hammer Leticia James’s record of letting violent criminals back out on the streets within hours (or minutes) of their arrest to commit more crimes. Third, Michael Henry needs volunteers to campaign door-to-door for him, staff the telephones and to be poll watchers to make sure that a close election isn’t stolen in a Democrat tradition of New York election theft going back to the days of Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall. Finally, help Michael Henry BRAND Leticia James as the soft-on-crime, politically corrupt, Far-Left “woke” political hack-activist she is by forwarding this email to your family, friends and contacts in New York, and using it as a template for letters to the editor, Blog posts, calls to radio talk shows, Tweets, Facebook and other social media posts.
We agree with Rep. Elise Stefanik, the House Republican Conference chair and Mr. Henry’s fellow New Yorker, who said this when she endorsed Michael Henry for Attorney General, “New York is in the grips of a serious crime crisis thanks to Radical Democrats' pro-criminal policies, Michael Henry will stand up to the Far-Left agenda that puts criminals first and law-abiding New Yorkers last." I am not interested in his being a Republican. Is he a Constitutional conservative? Is he anti-abortion, pro-2nd Amendment, and pro-President Trump? If he is just another moderate or RINO, we may as well elect another Democrat. Moderates and those damn RINOs do nothing to advance our conservative agenda. The GOP is not conservative, always favoring the moderate and RINO candidates. This has led to an ever-worsening performance by the Republican Party since Barry Goldwater's failed presidential run--and accelerating even more in the wrong direction beginning in 1987 when Senators Kennedy and Biden (yes, the idiot in the White House today) scuttled the brilliant Robert Bork's Supreme Court nomination.
