Why The Delta Variant Was Invented

Americans who believe in science and logic have been puzzling over the sudden demands for new lockdowns, mask mandates and other draconian measures to combat the alleged

rise of the so-called “Delta variant” of the COVID-19 virus.

There’s apparently no readily available test for the Delta variant because detecting the Delta variant, or other variants, requires a special type of testing called genomic sequencing. Genomic sequencing is slow and expensive and is not done outside specialized labs. So, your typical COVID PCR test can’t identify it and the claimed numbers of Delta variant COVID positive individuals are nothing more than projections, akin to the now-discredited Neil Ferguson projections of millions of people dropping dead in the streets that circulated in the early days of the Wuhan lab release.

What’s more, one company’s PCR test, the Innova SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Qualitative Test, has been recalled by the FDA because the Innova test comes with “a risk of false results,” and does not meet performance standards set by the FDA.

Plus, as Stacey Lennox reported for our friends at PJ Media, recent data from the U.K., Israel, and the CDC demonstrate that while the shots seem effective at reducing COVID-19 illness severity and duration, they do not prevent all infections, which would classify them as a therapeutic rather than an inoculation. It appears that the immune response generated by the vaccines cannot prevent the virus from replicating in all patients or for a significant period of time.

Comments from Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel on Mornings with Maria, as well as a press release from the company, demonstrate why the current shots given to protect against COVID-19 are analogous to the flu shots rather than the vaccines we receive as children that protect us against the measles and other diseases for a lifetime. The rapidly accumulating data makes the idea of vaccine mandates and passports absurd, concluded Ms. Lennox.

And to call the Delta variant narrative into further question Sharyl Attkisson reported in her must-read article, Covid-19 natural immunity compared to vaccine-induced immunity: The definitive summary, “Hard data counters widespread public misinformation that claimed “virtually all" patients hospitalized and dying of Covid-19 are unvaccinated. Pfizer and Moderna had claimed their vaccines were “100% effective” at preventing serious illness. Many in the media even popularized a propaganda phrase designed to push more people to get vaccinated: "pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

“Not so, says CDC and other data.

“Recent CDC data found that 74% of those who tested positive for Covid-19 in a Massachusetts analysis had been fully-vaccinated. Equally as troubling for those advocating vaccination-for-all: four out of five people hospitalized with Covid were fully-vaccinated. And CDC said "viral load” — indicating how able the human host is to spread Covid-19 — is about the same among the vaccinated and unvaccinated. Contrary to the infamous misinformation by CDC Director Rochelle Walensky last May, vaccinated people can— and are— spreading Covid. (CDC officials later corrected Walensky's false claim.)

“Nationally, as of July 12, CDC said it was aware of more than 4,400 people who got Covid-19 after being fully vaccinated and had to be hospitalized; and 1,063 fully vaccinated people who died of Covid. But health officials still argue that vaccinated people make up only a small fraction of the seriously ill. Critics counter that CDC’s recent Massachusetts data calls that into question.”

So, if the science isn’t there to give us definitive numbers on what percentage of COVID-positive patients have the Delta variant and all we have are projections, and the “viral load” is about the same among the vaccinated and unvaccinated, why the panic and talk of new lockdowns and mask-mandates?

Forgive our cynicism, but to us the reason is strictly political – the upcoming California recall election that has incumbent Far Left Democrat lockdown-hypocrite Gavin Newsom in trouble and looking more and more like he is going to be recalled.

According to a recent Wall Street Journal report, voter frustration with progressive misrule in California is mounting, and a new poll finds that Mr. Newsom is vulnerable in the Sept. 14 recall election.

The Berkeley IGS poll shows 47% of likely voters supporting his ouster. Under California recall rules, voters are first asked whether to remove an elected official. Then they vote separately on a replacement. If a majority votes to boot Mr. Newsom, the candidate with the most votes on the second question becomes Governor.

Mr. Newsom is notably suffering from a lack of enthusiasm among key groups. Forty-seven percent of likely voters ages 18 and 39 support his removal, as do half of 40- to 64-year-olds and Asians. Likely voters in every region of the state but San Francisco, Los Angeles and the Central Coast want him out.

The only good news for Newsom is that, thanks to the Delta variant, the voting in the recall will be conducted only via California’s notoriously corrupt mail-in ballot system – there will be no in-person voting. This is a strong signal that the only science behind the Delta variant is the political science necessary for Democrats to retain power in California. With Fauci now saying, without evidence, that the next COVID variant will be even worse than Delta, we think the CDC should abandon the Greek alphabet naming scheme and adopt one based on election cycles, because this next “more deadly variant” is bound to be discovered just in time for the 2022 election.
