Anarchists Plan Whitmer Kidnapping Media Immediately Labels Them Republicans

The FBI has broken up an alleged plot to kidnap Michigan’s Far left Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer. One of the leaders of the alleged plot, Brandon Caserta, has an anarchist

YouTube channel, but somehow the media got the idea – and social media is promoting it heavily – that the alleged conspirators are part of some Republican or right-wing plot to overthrow the government of the United States.

In fact, in a video found by our Twitter friend @robbystarbuck, Mr. Caserta says "Trump is not your friend dude." He also says that Trump is "a tyrant" and describes him as an "enemy.”

You can see further bits of the ideology to which Caserta and the other alleged plotters subscribe through this link: https://twitter.com/i/status/1314267058339819520

In that video posted by @robbystarbuck, Mr. Caserta poses in front of the same Anarchist flag that leads Antifa riots in Portland, Seattle and elsewhere to tell people that the Declaration of Independence is an anarchist document.

Note: For some reason the Caserta videos seem to be disappearing from YouTube, but @Chuck_DBQ grabbed key frames and quotes that you can view here.

The federal investigation into the alleged plot dates to early 2020 when the FBI learned through social media that individuals were discussing the violent overthrow of several state governments and law enforcement. The government said the plot against Whitmer was stopped with the work of undercover agents and informants.

Through confidential sources, undercover agents and "clandestine" recordings, federal agents tracked the six men during their planning to kidnap Whitmer as they communicated over encrypted messaging platforms using code words and phrases in an attempt to avoid detection by law enforcement, U.S. Attorney Andrew Birge of the Western District of Michigan said according to reporting by the Detroit News.

In June, 16 alleged conspirators, including individuals from multiple states held a meeting in Dublin, Ohio, near Columbus, according to the government. Those present included an FBI confidential source who recorded the meetings. The source has been paid $8,600, reported the Detroit News.

Despite Caserta’s obvious anarchist ideology, self-described college instructor @BresslerNfpe tweeted:

Yep, and it wasn't Antifa. It was people from a right wing paramilitary group associated with those fully armed folks who took over the Michigan Legislature earlier this year. They were not only not arrested (to my knowledge) but praised by trump.

@Futureboy2K also tweeted the same fantasy:

Funny thing —
In any decent timeline, this should cause the GOP to think they maybe went too far with their rhetoric and would cut back on using such inflammatory and violence-inciting language.
But it won’t. Shame on them forever.

And self-described "Warren Democrat" @philipdeevy tweeted:

This is a horrifying story. What if they had succeeded? The idea that a public official - the governor of Michigan for heaven's sake - was the target of an kidnap attempt, and perhaps murder, by right wing extremists is truly chilling. @FBI Thank you for breaking up this plot.

So, it didn’t take long for the Leftwing of the establishment media to pick up and promote the idea that this was a conservative plot of some sort.

A Los Angeles Times banner headline blared “A right-wing plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer should worry us all” as editorial writer Scott Martelle, who apparently used to live in Michigan, did his best to tie President Trump to domestic terrorists Timothy J. McVeigh and Terry Nichols, former Ku Klux Klan leader Robert Miles, the Hutaree Christian militia group and the Michigan Militia, none of which had any discernable tie to any known conservative organization.

And Mr. Martelle managed to work in the “very fine people” lie mischaracterizing President Trump’s remarks about the 2017 Charlottesville, VA riot for good measure.

Interestingly, we can find no statement by the FBI or the U.S. Attorney that the alleged plotters were affiliated with any known conservative organization, and there’s no indication in the criminal complaint that the men were inspired by President Trump – but that doesn’t prevent Far Left editorial writers and “college instructors” from tweeting the alleged plotters were “a right-wing paramilitary group” that was “praised by trump."

What’s more, Governor Whitmer’s illegal corona virus orders were just slapped down by Michigan’s Supreme Court. The Michigan Supreme Court last week ruled that a 1945 law used as the foundation for many of Whitmer’s orders was unconstitutional, rendering moot complaints about her unbridled use of executive power, which had enraged many sensible and law abiding residents of the Great Lakes State.

We do find ourselves in agreement with the LA Times’ Scott Martelle on one thing - Mr. Martelle noted “…the federal government doesn’t have a very good record in these things,” and we might add, neither do editorial writers who characterize as a conservative Brandon Caserta, a guy who says Trump is "a tyrant" and an "enemy” and posts to his YouTube channel under the same Anarchist flag that leads Antifa rioters in Portland, Seattle and elsewhere.

Now I did not hear them called Republicans but were referred to as Far Right Extremists, which is exactly what they are, and will be treated as such.
