Another Chapter In Joe Biden’s Love Affair With America-Hating Iran

Democrats have long had an inexplicable love affair with Iran’s America-hating Islamist regime, culminating in the Obama – Biden treaty to give Iran a pathway to developing

nuclear weapons. And this weird attraction to the world’s #1 funder of terrorism has continued under Joe Biden, despite overwhelming evidence that Iran was behind the IEDs that killed and maimed a large percentage of the American casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In addition to starting negotiations to reestablish the Obamabomb Treaty abandoned by President Trump, Biden recently agreed to what amounted to a ransom and prisoner exchange that resulted in the release of five detained Americans in exchange for several imprisoned Iranians and access to $6 billion in frozen assets.

Bad as that deal was, because it did not include returning or at least accounting for Robert Levinson, an American who disappeared in Iran 16 years ago, the latest outrage from the Biden Pentagon may be even worse.

Earlier this month Biden's Strategic Command (STRATCOM) hosted Seyed Hossein Mousavian, a former regime official connected to the assassination of Iranian dissidents, to speak at a major symposium, providing him access to America’s most senior military officials.

Mousavian is an outspoken apologist for Iran’s terrorist regime and was allowed to enter the United States and teach at Princeton no less.

As our friends at the Washington Free Beacon reported:

In his remarks, Mousavian thanked Gen. Anthony Cotton for inviting him to the event and said he would present an "Iranian perspective" on the current threat landscape within the Middle East.

"I’m afraid you may not like it, but I think it’s important to know the other side," Mousavian said, adding that the United States must "rewrite their policy in the Middle East."

The Princeton professor went on to list what he described as unjustified American acts of aggression towards Iran dating back nearly a century and ending with former President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal.

"Iran complied completely [with the deal] with zero failure for three years, but the U.S. again broke the promise," Mousavian said. "Trump's withdrawal from the nuclear deal was really a disaster."

Trump "also had popular Iranian Revolutionary Guard General [Qassem] Soleimani assassinated," added Mousavian, who attended the late terrorist leader's funeral in Tehran.

"Mousavian helped lead the murderous Iranian regime’s efforts to obtain nuclear weapons so it could threaten the United States and our allies with annihilation," said Rep. Jim Banks, a member of the House Armed Services Committee. "Now he’s in semi-retirement at Princeton as a full time propagandist for the IRGC. Inviting him to spread lies at a U.S. military seminar is insanity."

"The decision to invite former Iranian ambassador Mousavian to speak to STRATCOM is unimaginably foolish," Gabriel Noronha, a former Iran adviser at the State Department, told the Washington Free Beacon. "He is a pawn and propaganda agent of the Iranian regime, which explains why he is allowed to travel back to Iran."

Mousavian, Noronha said, remains close with the Iranian regime, with former foreign minister Javad Zarif stating in 2016 that the former ambassador "continues to work hard" for Tehran’s interests while working at Princeton.

"Congress should investigate the decision-making process that led to this entirely inappropriate speaking invitation," Noronha said.

We agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Noronha. Mousavian isn’t just some kind of now out-to-pasture or reformed regime operator – he’s an active participant in the Islamist regime’s psychological warfare operations against America.

And as Adam Kredo reported, Mousavian last year appeared to gloat about Iran’s death threats against former Trump administration officials, including Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his deputy, Brian Hook.

"I went to America and an American told me that Brian Hook’s wife can’t sleep, she cries and trembles, she told Brian, ‘They’ll kill you,’ since Hook was a partner in the death of Haj Qassem [Soleimani], that’s how much they were trembling," Mousavian was quoted as saying in a documentary film produced by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

How close is Mousavian to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its terrorist Quds Force?

Mousavian was Iran’s ambassador to Germany in 1992 when the Iranian regime assassinated Iranian-Kurdish opposition leaders Sadegh Sharafkandi, Fattah Abdoli, Homayoun Ardalan and their translator Nouri Dehkordi, a group of Kurdish expatriate leaders gathered at Berlin’s Mykonos Restaurant. This operation would have been coordinated out of that embassy. You can read more about Iran’s use of assassins with embassy cover, including the Mykonos operation, through this link.

More recently, Mousavian traveled back to Iran to be present for the funeral of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani who was killed by a U.S. missile strike order by President Donald Trump. Despite the overwhelming evidence, and Soleimani’s own words, Mousavian has always maintained that the leader of Iran’s terrorist Quds Force was not a terrorist.

How can STRATCOM and the Biden administration (and Princeton) not know the real Hussein Mousavian – terrorist apologist and likely facilitator of assassinations in Germany and psy-ops in America? Simple, they do know and are either foolishly minimizing the threat or they are on the other side in the war Iran’s Islamist regime has declared on the West.

This is what our military has come to. With all their other woke actions, including CRT and recruiting transitioning genders, our military is no longer the tough patriotic fighting organization that we depend on. When President Trump gets back in office, he needs to begin a purge of top military leadership to begin returning the pentagon to being an American organization.
