The Democrats are pulling out all the stops to put Donald Trump in jail before the election – including using a phony – literally made up – campaign finance violation to bring him before
a corrupt New York judge.
We use the word “corrupt” advisedly because Justice Juan M. Merchan, overseeing the Trump trial, appears to be in violation of New York’s public corruption law by virtue of the fact that his daughter, Loren Merchan, is receiving regular payments from one of former
President Trump’s chief antagonists – New York Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman.
As Laura Loomer reported in a post to X:
According to FEC records, the address that NY Democrat Congressman @RepDanGoldman sends his checks to when he pays “Authentic Campaign” is a Richmond, Virginia address that happens to be the personal home residence of Loren Merchan, Judge Merchan’s daughter.
Loren Merchan is the President of Authentic Campaigns @Authentic_HQ and her father is overseeing Trump’s trial in NYC.
Additionally, the record in the @FEC was documented by Democrat New York Congressman Dan Goldman deceptively as “Authentic Campaign” instead of “Authentic Campaigns”, deliberately leaving the S off the end as a way to cover up the fact that Congressman Dan Goldman, who admitted on @MSNBC last week to prepping @ManhattanDA Alvin Bragg’s Star witness @MichaelCohen212 before his testimony in the Trump trial, has been sending his payments to THE PERSONAL HOME ADDRESS OF JUDGE MERCHAN’S DAUGHTER.
Records show NY Democrat Congressman Dan Goldman has sent Loren Merchan at least $162,091.92, with the last payment being made on March 26, 2024, right before the Trump “hush money” trial began on April 15th, 2024.*
As Ms. Loomer pointed out, the headquarters offices of Authentic Campaigns are in Chicago and DC, which means there’s no reason why payments should be going to Loren Merchan’s personal home residence.
And it gets better.
Judge Merchan’s daughter also has Kamala Harris as a “client.” An X account belonging to Loren Merchan under the handle @LorenM426 shows her profile picture is President Trump behind bars in a jail cell.
FEC reports also reveal that Loren Merchan is a frequent @actblue donor to Democrat candidates. This is the same Act Blue that evidence suggests is at the center of a massive money laundering effort on behalf of the Democrats.
This should be enough evidence to force Judge Merchan to recuse himself and to acquit Donald Trump all together claimed Ms. Loomer.
Recusal would certainly be in order, especially in light of Section 100.2 New York State Unified Court System Rules on Judicial Conduct:
Section 100.2
A judge shall avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety in all of the judge's activities.
(A) A judge shall respect and comply with the law and shall act at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary.
(B) A judge shall not allow family, social, political or other relationships to influence the judge's judicial conduct or judgment.
(C) A judge shall not lend the prestige of judicial office to advance the private interests of the judge or others; nor shall a judge convey or permit others to convey the impression that they are in a special position to influence the judge…
Given the obvious application of Section 100.2(B) to Justice Merchan’s situation why wouldn’t he recuse himself and avoid the negative publicity and potential for a disciplinary hearing?
One answer that suggests itself if that he didn’t think he would get caught and now that he has been caught, he has to gut it out or risk the wrath of those who are paying his daughter.
Of course, there’s another answer and that is that he knows those responsible for investigating corruption in New York’s judicial system won’t raise a finger against him for this latest disclosure, even though he’s already been cautioned over his political activities.
*According to Ballotpedia Goldman’s two “opponents” (using the term loosely) are virtual ghost candidates, one reported no money raised or spent and the other has raised and spent less than $10,000.
