How Much Money Do Democrats Plan To Print?

Democrats just passed a $1.9 Trillion “COVID relief” bill that had almost nothing to do with

helping mitigate the effects of the Red Chinese biowarfare attack on America and everything to do with bailing out mismanaged Democrat-controlled state governments and funding Democrat allies in the non-government sector.

But that wasn’t enough spending to satisfy the Left’s voracious appetite for your tax dollars.

The day after the COVID bill passed Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tasked House committee chairmen with drafting "a big, bold and transformational" infrastructure spending package.

"Congress must work swiftly to build on the historic Biden American Rescue Plan. Our recovery plan must Build Back Better For The People in every zip code by creating good-paying jobs for the future," the California Democrat said in a statement. "To that end, I have called upon the Chairs of the Committees of Jurisdiction to work with their Republican counterparts to craft a big, bold and transformational infrastructure package," said Democrat Pelosi.

According to reporting by The Hill’s Mike Lillis, Pelosi said, “Building our transportation system has long been bipartisan… It is our hope that spirit will prevail as we address other critical needs in energy and broadband, education and housing, water systems and other priorities."

As Mr. Lillis observed, in the last Congress, House Democrats had adopted a $1.5 trillion infrastructure proposal, coupled with a host of provisions designed to tackle climate change. Those environmental items alienated many Republicans, and only three Republicans voted in favor of the package.

Many Democrats are already calling for the infrastructure package to in essence mask the real goal; Green New Deal spending as a major part of the legislation. Mr. Lillis reports Biden has joined that chorus, hoping to use the package to reduce carbon emissions by shifting the nation's energy production from fossil fuels to greener technologies.

The Hill’s Mr. Lillis reports Democrats are already calling for party leaders to tap special budget procedures, known as reconciliation, to move the infrastructure package. That gambit allows legislation to pass with only a simple majority in the Senate, sidestepping a Republican filibuster — the same process Democrats used to pass their $1.9 trillion COVI19 relief package last week.

Pelosi said the bill won’t just fund roads and bridges and the Green New Deal, it will also "address other critical needs in energy and broadband, education and housing, water systems and other priorities."

"I think the number one priority for the White House and Congress will be to build the climate initiatives we've so much wanted into an infrastructure bill," Virginia Rep. Don Beyer told Insider last month. "The second big thing would be accessible, affordable broadband in rural America and lower-income, urban America."

Democrat Pelosi went on to remark, "As we engage in these job-creating initiatives, we must discuss their impact on the federal budget, on creating economic growth and on preserving our planet."

Given the 11,000-job hole in the workforce Biden dug when he killed the Keystone XL pipeline on his first day in office, we wonder what and where these “job-creating initiatives” are going to be.

White House chief of staff Ron Klain gave us a little clue about what kind of and were the jobs would be when told Punchbowl News on Wednesday the country needs to invest more to "beat China in the global economy" and "create the kinds of jobs we need," he said. His remarks are an early sign that the Biden administration views the package as a path to strengthen the nation's foreign competitiveness.

Klain added: "Not just building the infrastructure but then the jobs that that infrastructure powers in terms of bring products to market, and it includes things as the president said like hundreds of thousands of charging stations for the new generation electrical vehicles that are going to be on the road here in the years to come. It includes investments in power transmission for clean power and it obviously includes things like roads and bridges and all these other things."

Got that – the “kind of jobs we need” are Far Left Democrat-approved Green New Deal jobs in clean power transmission, not gas or oil transmission, like the Keystone XL pipeline.

Between the $1.9 trillion COVID bill and the proposed $2 trillion infrastructure bill it looks like Democrats will in the first six months of the Biden administration spend nearly $4 trillion above and beyond the regular spending necessary to keep the federal government’s normal operations going, meaning that Jimmy Carter-levels of inflation and economic stagnation cannot be too far behind.

We urge CHQ readers and friends to call the toll-free Capitol Switchboard (1-866-220-0044), tell your Senators and Representative enough is enough, the spending has to stop and you demand they vote NO on any further infrastructure, Green New Deal or economic stimulus spending.

Seeing as how all the DIM's are on the ladder trying to screw in the same lightbulb, money will be no problem, it is their problem if the ladder breaks and injures them all, they will sue for reparations....soon the $ will be worth less than the peso.....

I have often wondered where the electricity to power all these electric cars is going to come from if we are relying on bird killing wind turbines and animal frying solar panels. They'd have to cover virtually every available open field. Since they wear out and have to be replaced every 20 years, they should provide plenty of jobs. And as we learned in Texas last month, they work just great in freezing weather - not!
