On Sunday the New York Times reported Twitter permanently suspended the personal account of Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican of Georgia, after the company said she had violated its Covid-19 misinformation policies.
The Times reported Twitter suspended Ms. Greene’s account after she tweeted on Saturday, about “extremely high amounts of Covid vaccine deaths.” She included an allegedly “misleading chart” that pulled data from a government database.
Twitter said that Rep. Greene had a fifth “strike,” which meant that her account will not be restored. The company had issued her a fourth strike in August after she posted that the vaccines were “failing.” Ms. Greene was given a third strike less than a month before that when she had tweeted that Covid-19 was not dangerous for people unless they were obese or over age 65, and said vaccines should not be required.
The problem with this latest example of Twitter ban hypocrisy is that at least two of Rep. Taylor Greene’s “strikes” for COVID “misinformation” are demonstrably true and a third is a matter of reasonable scientific debate and investigation.
If vaccines are allowing breakthrough cases, especially breakthrough cases that result in death what else would you call it but a “failure?”
Here are the breakthrough case stats for the relatively small state of South Carolina:
Known breakthrough cases: 23,866
Total hospitalizations/deaths: 1,684
Total known deaths: 532
Cindy Krischer Goodman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported on December 19, 2021 that “Nearly a third of Florida’s new COVID cases are breakthrough infections.”
Citing federal government data, Ms Krischer Goodman reported:
All vaccinated age groups saw similar rates of breakthrough infection.
Vaccinated people 80 and older who got COVID had higher death rates than unvaccinated people under 50.
All three brands of vaccine substantially reduced rates of cases and deaths, however, Johnson & Johnson recipients had slightly higher rates of breakthrough cases and related deaths. And Pfizer-BioNTech recipients had slightly higher rates than those who got Moderna.
Even when fully vaccinated people developed symptoms, they were less severe symptoms than in unvaccinated people. By early October, unvaccinated people got COVID at six times the rate of those vaccinated and landed in the hospital at 12 times the rate.
In other words, the vaccines were failing to prevent COVID-19 in many Florida recipients and death rates were higher for those above 65 than they were for younger people – pretty much exactly what Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted and got “strikes” for.
In an article titled “COVID-19 breakthrough hospitalizations: Who gets sick when vaccines don’t work?” the San Francisco Bay area news site The Daily Democrat ( ! ) reported a study by the Kaiser Family Foundation and health care software company Epic Systems, based on an analysis of electronic medical records of 120,000 patients hospitalized in 250 hospitals across all 50 states between June and September, found that more than two-thirds (69%) of breakthrough COVID-19 hospitalizations occurred among people ages 65 and older. A fifth (21%) occurred among people ages 50-64. Only 10% occurred among younger adults. In contrast, the majority of people who were not fully vaccinated and hospitalized with COVID-19 were under the age of 64.
In other words, once again Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s tweets were factual according to the highly respected Kaiser Family Foundation’s study, but she got a “strike” anyway.
Don’t be fooled into believing that Twitter, Facebook and other social media “fact checkers” are unbiased arbiters of truth – their job is to suppress information and assist the Biden government in what has become an obvious campaign of mass formation psychosis – don’t let it work on you.
